Associate AucklandStephen De Vrij is an experienced project architect and team leader with wide-ranging experience delivering highly successful design-driven projects that are tailored to meet complex and demanding briefs.
Stephen’s enthusiasm for making buildings spans from conceptual thinking through to detail resolution and discussing “nuts and bolts” with contractors on site.
He firmly believes that an open and collaborative process that is receptive to ideas is behind all successful outcomes.
Stephen has led the detailed design documentation and on-site observation for a significant student-living project over the past year and a half. Stephen’s knowledge, experience and pragmatism has been evident to the project team and the wider consultant team. Stephen is highly design aware and he provides valuable contributions to in-house design discussions.
Stephen was appointed Associate in 2019.
