Edwin Ipsen

Associate Principal Specialist Auckland

Having been with the practice since 2005, Edwin became a registered architect in 2014 and was appointed Senior Associate in 2019. He started his career as a draughtsman before completing his degree in Architecture at the University of Auckland.

Edwin has been project architect for a number of major projects including the highly successful ASB Arena in Tauranga, the Taranaki Base Hospital redevelopment in New Plymouth, and is currently the envelope architect for the $480M New Zealand International Convention Centre in Auckland.

Edwin’s focus is on strong documentation, where he commits himself to a complete understanding of each project to ensure a successful outcome. His investment in 3D software and Revit skills has ensured a successful transition into the BIM environment.
