We are seeking a Project Architect to join our Auckland studio to lead a number of high-profile projects. The successful candidate should have:
  • A tertiary qualification in architecture and ideally be NZ registered
  • Relevant commercial practice experience
  • Experience leading and delivering projects from conceptual design through all phases to delivery
  • Site observation experience preferred
  • Ability to develop, maintain and lead successful client relationships
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in producing quality documentation
  • Proficient in Revit

About the Role:

We are looking for an engaging and outgoing Receptionist to work full time and become an integral part of our team in our Auckland Studio.

As Receptionist, you will be the principal point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, trade representatives and members of the general public. The role will work closely with the Studio Manager to provide administration support as well as being across all hospitality arrangements for the studio which include catering orders and ensuring meeting rooms are tidy.

Skills / Experience:
  • 2+ years administration experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Initiative and ability to work proactively
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Be friendly, confident, inclusive and adapt well to different personalities
  • An interest in architecture and sustainability would be advantageous
  • Front of house / hospitality experience is desirable but not essential

About the role:

Our BIM group is growing, and we are seeking a capable BIM Lead in Auckland, to support our Digital Leaders to develop, lead and manage operational and technical delivery of BIM Services across the Group and play a key role in driving business development in Auckland as well as continuing to drive Warren and Mahoney forward as industry leaders in technology and innovation.

You will be responsible for:
  • Actively assisting the Digital Leaders and/or Project Principals with business development activities across New Zealand and Australia
  • Leading and managing the full scope of Advanced BIM Services across multiple largescale projects and clients
  • Assisting in the negotiation of Project BIM standards with other consultants
  • Leading BIM data planning and implementation, model structures and set-out, and automated BIM processes
  • Providing training to employees at all levels to increase Advanced BIM capabilities across the Group
  • Actively assisting the Digital Leaders in authorship of the Revit/BIM Procedures and Standards and provide support and guidance if procedures are not followed to ensure correction
Skills required:
  • 5+ years’ experience operating as a CAD/BIM Manager and senior technology professional
  • Full understanding of Revit, Navisworks and Revizto at the user and administration level
  • Extensive project and team leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in staff training and development
  • Extensive experience in taking complex projects to completion

  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Relevant architectural technician qualification preferred
  • Strong skills in Autodesk Revit

About the role:

We seek an IT Support Technician to join our Auckland Studio. You will be joining an experienced and hard-working ICT team, supporting our Auckland studio, and providing remote support to our Wellington and Tauranga studios. Occasional travel may be required

You will be responsible for:
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
Skills required:
  • Experience in supporting a range of Microsoft Products
  • 1+ years’ experience in a technology support role
  • A tertiary qualification in IT, IT Systems, Computer Programming or similar
  • Previous experience in maintaining and installing a variety of software and hardware

  • 10+ years’ experience with a tertiary qualification in architecture
  • Familiar with NZ building code and preferably NZ registered
  • Experience leading and delivering significant multi-residential projects from conceptual design through all phases to delivery
  • Ability to develop, maintain and lead successful client relationships
  • Strong people leadership skills and a proven record of successfully running project teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

About the role:

Our BIM group is growing, and we are seeking a talented Studio BIM Manager to join our Christchurch Studio. This key role will support the Group BIM Manager to maintain our BIM production drawing systems, set up large projects and workflows, oversee project BIM deliverables and provide training and support to our team.

As Studio BIM Manager you will join a team of industry leaders and contribute to continuing to drive Warren and Mahoney forward as pioneers in technology and innovation.


You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the implementation of project BIM Execution Plans and BIM Management Plans
  • Reviewing, auditing and managing BIM deliverables projects
  • Being the BIM liaison for project consultants, preparing BIM deliverables to exchange and facilitate collaboration
  • Providing quality control for completeness and adhering to the corporate QA and documentation standards
  • Auditing, reviewing and distributing mark-ups and comments from the scheduled BIM reviews
  • Creating project specific Revit content
  • Training and overseeing the day-to-day activities of all Revit staff to ensure BIM standards are maintained
  • Providing project related Revit support and trouble shooting as required

The successful applicant will have:

  • 5+ Years experience operating as a CAD/BIM Manager
  • Management experience including leadership and experience reporting to senior management
  • Full understanding of Revit and Navisworks at the user & administer level
  • Ability to run, maintain and install a variety of software and hardware
  • Detailed understanding of construction processes, systems and architectural detailing and documentation
  • Large project experience ($50M+)
  • Experience with Dynamo and dRofus will also be highly regarded

The Role:

We seek the fresh, valuable perspective of a creative, emerging interior designer to join our growing Wellington studio. You will work alongside established design leaders who will encourage and support you to develop your craft and give you room to make an impact. Your ability and drive to learn, innovate and deliver will be honed through access to high-quality projects with ambitious clients.

You will have a passion for and strength in design and project delivery with 3+ years’ experience in medium to large scale Commercial & Workplace design.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working collaboratively with your team across all project phases from briefing, space planning, concept, through to documentation and delivery.
  • Developing conceptual design thinking around the developing schemes and representing those ideas through sketches, visualisations and materiality.
  • Preparing developed design and documentation, working through design options and detailing Revit drawings and schedules
  • Keep abreast of development in design technology, techniques and trends.
Skills required:
  • Architectural / Interior design qualification or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on medium and largescale commercial interiors projects. Workplace experience an advantage.
  • Technical and sustainability skills that transform design ideas to detailed drawings and enable project delivery that is code compliant and integrates sustainability principles.
  • Proficient using design software eg. Revit, Sketch Up, Enscape, Photoshop & InDesign skills to represent design ideas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

About the role:

We are seeking a Project Lead with experience delivering large multi-residential projects to join our Melbourne. The successful candidate should have:
  • 10+ years’ experience with a tertiary qualification in architecture
  • Knowledge and experience working with local building code and other applicable laws.
  • Experience leading and delivering significant multi-residential and large scale projects from conceptual design through all phases to delivery
  • Ability to develop, maintain and lead successful client relationships
  • Strong people leadership skills and a proven record of successfully running project teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in producing quality documentation
  • Proficient in the use of Revit
  • Passion for and experience with sustainability is a plus

We are seeking a Senior Architect to be based out of Dunedin ideally with site observation experience on large scale projects.

Skills required
- 10+ year's experience
- Technically focused and experienced using Revit
- Has complex site observation experience
- Previously led and delivered large projects
- Has the ability to develop, maintain and lead successful client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Principal to work with our current leadership team in shaping the future of the overall practice. You will be an expert communicator, strategist and designer, with a passion for understanding local cultural contexts, and translating them into spaces that connect people to create a sense of belonging and wellbeing. You will be inspired to grow and develop our opportunities both in the Wellington studio and the wider Warren and Mahoney network.

Skills required:
  • Have excellent client relationship and management skills
  • Understand and have worked in the public sector and/or the developer market, with a knowledge of key commercial drivers
  • Be a strong people leader, with demonstrated experience successfully running teams on projects
  • Have demonstrated design expertise and able to lead the translation of design into detailed documentation
  • Understand the key market clients and be aware of emerging thinking and activity in your local market
  • Have extensive experience in New Zealand and/or international experience preferably in the multi-residential sector or healthcare

  • A tertiary qualification in architecture and ideally be NZ registered
  • Relevant commercial practice experience

  • Site observation experience
  • Ability to develop, maintain and lead successful client relationships
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in producing quality documentation
  • Proficient in Revit
