Marlborough Airport Extension

The terminal upgrade and extension to the Marlborough Airport almost doubles the size of the building with the addition of 552m² of floor area. Works include a separate rental car area, new offices, an improved covered baggage claim area, and a larger passenger lounge. Construction works was undertaken in three stages: Rental car booths, Airside to south, then Landside to north.

Marlborough Airport can now accommodate about 250,000 people a year, a significant increase from the 100,000 capacity of the original terminal. The upgrade opens up the opportunity to showcase the region.
