Simon Laurie

Simon Laurie

Senior Associate Christchurch

Simon joined Warren and Mahoney in 1997 and over the subsequent years has established a reputation as one of the practice’s most competent and reliable young technicians. In 2002 he left New Zealand to spend three years working in the UK at ‘top10’ practices such as 3D Reid and McCormack Jamieson and Prichard. Returning to Warren and Mahoney in 2005, he brought back to the practice the benefits of that experience and the skills he gained working as an architectural technician for top level international firms.

Simon is a valued member of the practice not only because of his skill as an outstanding architectural technician, producing clear, precise and well detailed documentation, but also for his competence in managing projects, from documentation right through to construction observation.

Simon has managed the recent highly acclaimed restoration / reconstruction of the Christchurch Town Hall over a seven year period 2012 – 2019 and was registered as an architect in 2022. Simon leads our technical review team in Christchurch.
