Mat Brown
Principal AucklandMat joined Warren and Mahoney in 2014. He has over 20 years experience working across a range of project typologies and sizes in Auckland and London.
Mat’s broad background enables him to quickly grasp the key drivers within a project. He has a strong design focus and an excellent ability to think in three dimensions. He has a strong technical understanding which he believes is equally important across all stages of design.
His particular strengths lie in the areas of multi-unit housing, small and medium scale commercial, and medical facilities.
Mat has an interest in architecture’s relationship with the public and hopes to encourage a greater understanding of architecture within New Zealand through popular media. His Masters degree focused on how architects might communicate better with the public.
