In 2021, Denisa joined Warren and Mahoney’s Melbourne Studio as the Studio Head of Design. Her early experience in Europe enrich the depth of knowledge and insight she has accumulated in Australia over the last 15 years. She is highly experienced with managing design teams and complex stakeholder engagement across civic, commercial, residential, hospitality and education sectors.
Denisa led the design for multiple winning competitions for regional, civic, and educational projects across Germany, Austria, and Italy. After relocating to Australia, she spend 10 years at Bates Smart working on some of the most prestigious projects, including the new VRC Clubstand, Metro competition bid, JAM factory redevelopment and QVM Munro site redevelopment.
She guides teams to realise the vision and strengthen the design outcome. She believes that there is a strong connection between health and wellbeing and the spaces we occupy and sees the potential in every project we design today to create salutogenic environments for future generations.
