Best Awards - Multi-win for Warren and Mahoney

Warren and Mahoney is pleased to announce that we have won a variety of pins at this year’s BEST awards including two golds and a bronze in the Spatial category. Warren and Mahoney graduates Rachael Piper and Ji Hye Lim were also student pin winners of the spatial category. In addition, the Warren and Mahoney Design Annual, designed by Alt Group, won a silver pin in the Graphic category.
The BEST Design Awards is an annual showcase of New Zealand design excellence, which includes awards for spatial, graphics, products, interactive and motion design.
Warren and Mahoney has been awarded the following pins:
2016 Designers Institute of New Zealand Best Awards Workplace (over 1,000m²), Gold Award
FORSYTH BARR WORKPLACE
“A project which curates workplace experience with seascape and urban views”
The Forsyth Barr workplace project is located at the Lumley Centre in Auckland and houses 80 staff over one floor of this existing tower development. The project comprises a collaborative environment with a distinctive client experience. The project utilises technology and spatial arrangements, which promote flexible and adaptable ways of working. With the careful planning of the workplace and social spaces the design underpins a “one office” culture.

HEARTLAND BANK WORKPLACE
“Modern, clean and textured.”
Heartland Bank chose to consolidate their offices from various locations into one head office located in Newmarket. The aim of this project was to achieve a modern, clean and textured look with a timeless feel while referencing the values, culture and brand of the bank.

MEREDITH CONNELL WORKPLACE
“Expressing brand identity through a refreshed workplace”.
The Meredith Connell fitout responds to the client’s brief, creating an environment that would better support, promote and mirror Meredith Connell’s core values – meritocracy, honesty and transparency, collaboration and collegiality, people centric, and striving for excellence. The project included in-depth workplace strategy followed by workplace design.
