About the role

This is a fabulous opportunity for a Project Architect with proven capability in the local multi-res, commercial and civic sectors to make their mark.

What experiences/skills you will have:
  • Masters degree in Architecture
  • Current ARBV registration (preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years local experience on Multi Residential, Commercial and Civic projects
  • Strong Revit proficiency (‘on the tools’)
  • Ability to motivate others and lead a team
  • Extensive technical, construction and detailing knowledge
  • Experience onsite and with contract admin

About the role:

We seek a committed, enthusiastic, motivated Architectural Graduate to join our Sydney Studio.

You will have an eye for design and demonstrate clear technical capabilities required to realise designs, including proficiency in Revit. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant culture that allows you to be self-driven alongside senior leaders in a practice who will support you as you develop your career.


You will be responsible for:
  • Contributing to accurate and clear drawings to the set of drawings for projects
  • Applying buildability and construction order concepts to design and documentation
  • Review shop drawings for minor works and participating in design and technical reviews
  • Understanding the key processes when engaging with a client (e.g. RFP, go/no-go)
  • Take proactive steps to understand our clients’ businesses
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and becoming a key point of contact for specific aspects of the project
  • Delivering specific tasks/workflows of the project within allocated time budgets and deadlines and by working effectively with other project team members
  • Completing project and contact administration tasks such as meeting minutes, checklist, issuing contract instructions and updating contract documentation

Skills required:
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and InDesign and (preferably) Rhino and Grasshopper
  • Proficient in electronic document development
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients, teams and stakeholders
  • 2+ years’ experience
  • Bachelor of Architecture from an Australian University or recognised equivalent tertiary qualification

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior People and Culture (P&C) Coordinator to join our team to support our New Zealand and Australian studios. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to take the next step in their HR career as it is responsible for a number of key P&C processes, while also supporting the broader P&C team to deliver high quality advice and services to support the practice. There is also a career pathway for the successful candidate into an HR Advisor role in time.

In particular, you will:
  • Manage key processes, including the probationary, health and safety and employee exit processes;
  • Support the P&C team by drafting employment documentation and reviewing and drafting policies;
  • Manage and/or support aspects of our annual projects, for example, career conversations, salary reviews, promotions and wellness initiatives;
  • Be the first point of contact for employees with queries;
  • Provide reporting, analytics and insights into data and trends;
  • Assist the Group Learning and Development Manager to identify training needs and coordinate training where required;
  • Support the development of new P&C initiatives, process improvements and change management.

Skills and experience required:
  • A tertiary qualification in a business and/or HR related field
  • At least one year’s experience in an HR administrator or coordinator role
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage numerous tasks throughout the day
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship skills

We are seeking a full-time highly organised and personable Receptionist to join our team in Auckland

As a Receptionist at Warren and Mahoney, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Auckland studio. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the key point of contact for all visitors and callers, providing them with a warm welcome and professional assistance. You will work closely with the Studio Manager and Studio Administrator to provide administrative support to employees and ensure that all requests are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Ideal experience and background:
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage numerous tasks throughout the day
  • Proven experience of being trustworthy to deal with confidential information
  • Proven customer/client interaction experience
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Initiative and ability to work proactively
