About the role:

We are seeking an experienced, highly successful Senior Architect possessing the vision and flair to push the boundaries of design with our Christchurch Studio at Warren and Mahoney.

You will work on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects of national significance across various sectors and a diverse range of clients. And will lead an architectural team of high performing, client-focused and commercially savvy individuals.

Skills required:
  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Technically focused and experienced using Revit
  • Complex site observation experience will be a plus

The Role:

We seek the fresh, valuable perspective of a creative, emerging interior designer to join our Queenstown studio. You will work alongside established design leaders who will encourage and support you to develop your craft and give you room to make an impact. Your ability and drive to learn, innovate and deliver will be honed through access to high-quality projects with ambitious clients.

You will be responsible for:
  • Working collaboratively with your team across all project phases from briefing, space planning, concept, through to documentation and delivery.
  • Developing conceptual design thinking around the developing schemes and representing those ideas through sketches, visualisations and materiality.
  • Preparing developed design and documentation, working through design options and detailing Revit drawings and schedules
  • Keep abreast of development in design technology, techniques and trends.
Skills required:
  • Architectural / Interior design qualification or relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating experience and talent for residential projects preferred
  • Technical and sustainability skills that transform design ideas to detailed drawings and enable project delivery that is code compliant and integrates sustainability principles.
  • Proficient using design software eg. Revit, Sketch Up, Enscape etc. Photoshop & InDesign skills to represent design ideas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-directed and ability to confidently solve problems.

About the role:

We seek an energetic and experienced Marketing and Business Development Advisor to drive the development and execution of bid, market and sector strategies in Auckland.

This is an exciting position where the management of sophisticated pursuits is required. You will be working directly with principals, architects and designers, as well as other members of a high performing marketing and business development team.

The role will suit a professional that thrives working within a fast-paced bid environment, but that can also drive strategy and client engagement initiatives to ensure Warren and Mahoney is perfectly positioned to help our clients

You will be responsible for:
  • Supporting and working with business leaders at Warren and Mahoney to develop and deliver business development strategy for the Auckland studio
  • Managing the pitch preparation process from identification through to delivery and taking personal responsibility for driving high quality client focused proposals
  • Managing activities such as client events, industry engagement and new business introductions
  • Maintaining a CRM database with proposal, organisation, contact and market intelligence
  • Driving continuous improvement and contributing to new ideas and ways to improve our business development and client experience
  • Assisting with general marketing and communications duties
Skills required:
  • A background in marketing or a business development role
  • Experience in a professional services environment (preferred)

We are seeking an ambitious, talented and experienced Project Architect to join our Auckland studio to lead a number of high-profile projects through all design phases including on-site phases of our projects.

You will lead project teams, liaising with clients, contractors and consultants, resolving complex construction details and specifications. You will play a pivital role in developing our rising talent at Warren and Mahoney, promoting Architectural excellence by example.

The successful candidate should have:
  • A tertiary qualification in architecture and ideally be NZ registered
  • Relevant commercial practice experience
  • Experience leading and delivering projects from conceptual design through all phases to delivery

About the role:

Due to growth in our business, we are looking to hire a People and Culture (P&C) Coordinator who will work across our New Zealand and Australian businesses. The role can be based in either Auckland or Christchurch.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to take the next step in their HR career as it is responsible for a number of key P&C processes, while also supporting the broader P&C team to deliver high quality advice and services to support the practice.

In particular, you will:
  • Be the first point of contact for employees with queries
  • Manage key processes, including the probationary process, employee exit process and long service process
  • Be responsible for the accuracy of data in our on-line systems
  • Support the P&C team by drafting employment documentation, updating policies and attending relevant meetings
  • Support annual projects, for example, career conversations, salary reviews, promotions and wellness initiatives.
Skills and experience required:
  • A tertiary qualification in a business and/or HR related field.
  • At least one year’s experience in an administrator or co-ordinator role, ideally HR or recruitment administration.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage numerous tasks throughout the day

About the role:

Due to growth in our business, we are looking to hire a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager who will work across our New Zealand and Australian businesses. As this is a newly created role, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to develop the learning strategy for the group and establish programmes and processes to grow organisational capability, aligned with Warren and Mahoney’s strategic goals.

This role can be based out of our Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch Studios.

In addition, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing programmes to improve leadership capability across Warren and Mahoney
  • Working with leaders in the business to develop an annual programme of training seminars and programmes
  • Leading Warren and Mahoney’s induction programme
  • Working closely with the broader P&C team on individual development planning and talent management activities
  • Providing coaching support to leaders and/or team members.
Skills and experience required:
  • A tertiary qualification in a business and/or HR related field
  • At least three years in an L&D role, or experience as an HR practitioner with substantive work in L&D programmes
  • Experience working in professional services or a corporate environment
  • Strong partnership and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Coaching experience and/or experience delivering training preferred but not required
